The Aesthetic, is the first of its kind as an exclusive hair studio for clients seeking a fusion of modern barbering with the salon standard for high end tailored haircuts. The studio is created and operated by a leader in the industry, and a NAHA award winning stylist, Whitney VerMeer.
Our goal in designing the brand identity was to reflect the work the client produces and the innovative approach to the studio. To accomplish this we have designed a uniquely contemporary and minimal logo that cleverly incorporates “the” into “aesthetic”. In an oversaturated landscape of stylists the identity also needed to stand out in a way no others did. Glitch like photo-manipulation is utilized to push the brand further into its own aesthetic (pun intended) that is also reflective of the times.
